The location is easily accessible with clear signage and a short walk to the water. The trail is well-defined and takes you to the Potomac River, offering beautiful scenery and opportunities for fishing and kayaking. The parking lot is small, but it can fit a decent number of cars. There's even a porta potty, which is a welcome convenience. The trail itself is rough and can get extremely muddy, so it's essential to bring a walking stick. The park is connected to Elizabeth Mills Riverfront Park and Bles Park, making it a great destination for a hike or a kayak launch. However, the trail can be problematic when wet, and the surroundings include houses and golf courses, which may not be to everyone's taste. Despite this, the location offers a peaceful and serene atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing walk or a fishing trip.
