The community service center at Building 105, E Market St Street, Leesburg City, is a designated Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Crisis Center for Loudoun County. While it has its strengths, the overall experience for some clients has been mixed. The center's helpfulness varies depending on the type of abuse experienced, with some feeling supported and others left with limited assistance. The wheelchair-accessible parking lot and entrance are positives. However, the limited support for survivors outside of physical abuse situations has raised concerns. Furthermore, some clients have reported feeling unwelcome and unsupported when they stayed at the shelter for more than a night. Additionally, there have been issues with the center's response to requests for assistance, particularly with regards to the address confidentiality program application. It's worth noting that the center has a team of caring and compassionate staff who are there to provide support when needed. Unfortunately, this has not been consistent across all interactions.
